Monte Vista Farms and Ranches was started in 1982 by Myron Pearman and his brother Carey Pearman! Over the years we custom silaged thousands of acres and ran cow/calf pairs. At the height of Monte Vista, we calved 1100 head of cattle and did over 8000 acres of custom silage work. Myron and his daughter Tess continue the family farm together and run around 470 head of cattle now. We are very proud to be apart of agriculture community and to be able to give back to people who have supported us over the years.

Duncan & Jean MacMillan started competing in Mounted Shooting in 2011 with the Border Cowboys Mounted Shooting club. They enjoyed encouraging and supporting others interested in shooting, and watched as the club grew and progressed. When not shooting, Jean and Duncan are kept busy with cows/calves, yearlings and some innovative farming practices. MacMillans have enjoyed travelling and meeting many new friends.
