AMSA sadly lost an amazing member in 2022. Orin Sand was not only one of the strongest shooters in Canada, but was also very active in starting and supporting new shooters of all ages. Orin and his wife Nancy, welcomed shooters from all clubs to their home arena for shoots, showering them with hospitality and kindness.

 

We continue to miss Orin and feel the loss at every shoot. In his honour, AMSA has partnered with Nancy in creating an award in Orin’s memory. 

The Sand family will donate a year’s membership and AMSA will give a cash award to a new shooter in Orin’s name.
